Aromatherapy...
Although I am not an "aromatherapist", I do have some training in the use of essential oils. If you like, I can add essential oils to your session for inhalation and/or topical application by blending with your massage oil/lotion. You will receive the benefits by either or both .........
Depending upon the oil used, some benefits of aromatherapy:
- relief of anxiety, stress, and depression
- improve mood
- relieve pain
Some of the oils I use in my practice:
Eucalyptus - decongestant, cooling, helps with muscle pain
Lavender - anti-inflammatory, helps with sunburn, depression, insomnia
Lemon - astringent, uplifting
Lemongrass - antiseptic, mental cleansing
Patchouli - antifungal, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, relaxing
Peppermint - energizing, stimulating
Rosemary - cleansing, invigorating, helps with muscle fatigue
Orange - astringent, uplifting, calming
Tea Tree - antiseptic, antifungal, anti-viral, helps with burns, cold sores
Ylang Ylang - relaxing, soothing, stress relief
